Wishbox Media company was launched in June 2019 with its main office in Amman and works across the Arab world. It aims to contribute to development in the region by creating original media content and producing customized new media training programs and workshops for content creators, journalists, communications officers and non-media professionals. We provide media and marketing services to companies, institutions, organizations, non-profits and individuals. The company has a talented in-house team that works on daily tasks, and partners with whom we work closely to implement our ideas and strategies.
Rana F. Sweis is the founder and managing director of WishBox Media. As a media professional for the past 17 years, she created Wishbox Media because she saw a need in the market to create innovative media content by using new tools and technologies. Rana is also a freelance journalist, most often for the New York Times and other outlets. She is the author of Voices of Jordan, a book dedicated to providing a compelling collage of contemporary Jordanian narratives. Rana holds an MA from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University and a BA in Journalism from Hofstra University.
Our staff is made up of Arabic and English digital media experts. We also collaborate with some of the best freelance illustrators, trainers, and content creators in the Middle East and beyond.
